SYNOPSIS: An armed conflict of more than 50 years passes through the destiny of three young people. A reluctant punk, an undercover guerrilla, and a recruited peasant girl are led by orders of their superiors to the battlefield. The three are taken away from their dreams, to be taken to the ranks of different sides of a conflict to which they do not want to belong. They are victims, but now they will be affected and prepared for war, while they fight internally to avoid becoming the next victimizers.

Somos Ecos is a co-production between Colombia, the United States and Italy, written, directed and co-produced by Julián Díaz Velosa in his directorial debut, and starring Sebastián Velásquez, Felipe Villamil and Maria Luisa López.

Somos Ecos has received multiple awards, including in 2022 the award in the categories of Best Colombian Film, Best International Film and Best Director at the Bogotá Film Festival (Colombia); and in that same year in the Best Cinematography category at the Indian World Film Festival. In 2021, it was the winner of the Audience Award at the San Diego Film Festival, California.
